JEREZ CEV 29/9/19

Jerez… a circuit where we can almost feel home, a circuit where our kids keep on climbing to become professional riders.

In this difficult Sunday, where we ride two races in Moto3 and two in ETC, there have been both positive and negative signs. We improved a lot with Volpi and Falzone, they did two aggressive races, especially the first one where the step forward was huge. Bertelle, after crashing at 170 km/h hasn’t been able to find back the same feeling with the bike so he did two anonymous races. Patacca, still looking for the confidence he lost after the brutal accident of last year, finally demonstrated he’s not afraid of bagarre anymore and he did that change of pace we were waiting for. Hikaru keeps on improving, taking home points in race1 and closing race2 in defense, trying non to lose his position. It was difficult for him with 35° degrees. This is part of the game, you understand that the lack of training or a wrong one could make a race more difficult, that’s why it’s important for riders to find the perfect combo between nutrition and training.

We’re working hard, we’re growing, we go on, a little slowly but conscious of our potentiality we keep on fighting.
I’ve just closed my luggage to go back home, but it’s already time to package a bigger one, ready to fly off to Thailand…. where Antonelli won’t be ready to ride because of the accident in Misano.
