RIDER - Mattia Casadei

He was born the 2nd of July 1999 in Rimini, where he still lives with his family.
Totally in love with the double wheels, he steps from cross to motard, from road-bike to mountain bike, as a never-ending ride.
This passion started in 2007 when he rode the first time a Minimoto.
In 2008 he began the Minimoto Italian Championship (CIV) – Junior class, and he immediately showed his talent ending his first championship in 2nd position.
In 2009 Mattia did a step, CIV Junior A, closing 7th.
In 2010 he moved forward to CIV Junior B. He won both Championship and constructors cup; in Germany he ended the European Championship in 4th position.
The following year he joined the CIV Junior C, winning the Italian Championship and, with big surprise, also the European one in France.
Thanks to those brilliant results, the Italian Motorcycling Federation decided to give him the chance to compete il the PreGP Italian Cup an year before. He ended the championship in 4th position.
In 2013 Paolo Simoncelli created the Sic58 Squadra Corse; Mattia was called to join the team in the PreGP closing again 4th..
Rconfirmed from Sic58 Squadra Corse alos for the followin year, Mattia stepped up to Civ Moto3. He immediately demonstrated competitive with a double poleposition in the first two races. He closed the championship in the 8th place after an unlucky season.
In 2015 Mattia run in the Red Bull Rookies always followed by Sic58 ending up 12th.
Also the following year he was with Sic58 Squadra Corse, riding in CIV- Moto3 and Rookies cup. He won the first CIV race and closed 2nd and 3rd in Mugello; he was leading the championship when, after crashing twice in Misano, he ended up 4th. In the RedBull Rookies Cup he closed the championship in 10 position conquering the poleposition in thehome GP.
In 2017 Paolo Simoncelli decided to take Mattia up to the Junior World Championship Moto3.
The following year Mattia started a new adventure: CIV 600. He spend the first three laps of the race leading the group when a problem in his arm came up, He closed 7th knowing it was time for surgery. The season was going on and Mattia was able to conquer two 3rd place and a brilliant poleposition in Mugello; he ended the championship 6th, but as the best rookie of the year.
In 2019 Mattia competed again in Supersport 600 of CIV, but this was not all! He came back in the Sic58 garage for a new adventure: the MotoE World Championship, closing the season in the top10. This adventure continued also in 2020, when he fought for the championship till the very end. Now we’re ready for an electric 2021!
