Stefano Nepa took his first steps on a minibike at the age of 8, supported by his father Sandro, a former motocross rider with over 20 years of experience and the family-run Nepa Racing Team.
After the experience in minibike races until 2013, he joined the Italian PreMoto3 CIV Championship in 2014, claiming the title of Italian champion. That same year, he became part of the “Talenti Azzurri” project.
In 2018, after achieving strong results in both CIV and CEV, he earned a full-time promotion to the Moto3 World Championship in June, riding the KTM of the French CIP GREENPOWER Team.
In 2019, he returned to the Junior Moto3™ World Championship with the Reale Avintia Junior Team. In 2020, he rejoined the World Championship as a full-time rider with the Aspar Team, sharing pit box with future world champion Albert Arenas.
After moving to BOE Motorsports, he consistently finished in the points throughout the 2021 season. He then switched to the KTM of the MTA Team, where he had a 2022 season marked by five top-ten finishes and an injury in Malaysia. In 2025, he will start a new adventure with the Sic58 Squadra Corse team.
