FIMCEVREPSOL VALENCIA 21/11/21

Here we are again, at the end of the CEV 2021 season. A poor season, with a lot of expectations and very little success. But it gave us some pole positions with Tatsuki and podiums with Casadei and Garcia.
In Valencia we had to say goodbye to three of our mates.
Corey Tinker, who will compete again in the British championship.
The never-giving-up Josito Garcia, always at the top, always in the leading group, just a pity for the last race, crashing for no reasons.
Agius Senna, who will compete in the Moto2 of CEV, a very polite and special kid.

On the other hand, the willful Harrison Voight will remain with us. Last Sunday, after months and months of hospital, surgeries, medical checks and physiotherapy, he was finally ready to compete in the last two races of the championship. First of all, he decided to test his broken leg with a crash-test, I can say successfully. He stood up well after a huge highside that scared us. Besides that, he has been able to qualify well, with the 6th lap-time.
After the first race, I saw him coming back to the box crying, I guess for the fear of an object that can be so powerful as a motorbike. Such a huge power in just 90 kg of bike, after his brutal accident he knows the amount of damages it can do.
After the second race he came back to the box again crying, but different tears, full of satisfaction for doing such a good race, full of adrenaline that makes all the rest exploding. I saw him watching up to the sky with eyes full of hope for his future, proud for not giving up, for not quitting in front of this huge fear to be back on that bike, which was tremendly difficult after such a huge accident. Good job Harrison, I should be very proud of yourself.

This is a job that allows me to meet young kids and to spend a lot of time with them and important moments that will mark their career forever. One year is very long and the emotions they can give me, that we transmit to each other, are enormous, impossible to sum in just on press release. We share sad moments, full of tears or anger, as well as moments full of joy and happiness, which can be even more intense, the higher i the step to obtain them. Every year a piece of them remains with me, every year we learn something, and even if sometimes they really made me angry, to push to achieve their best, to help them enlarge the flame i can see in their eyes at the beginning of the season, it is always for me an amazing job.
