JEREZ CEV 30/9/18

Sometime people ask me why I still keep competing in CEV although I have my team in the World Championship. Well… “Beacuse of Sundays like this one” it’s my answer. Beacuse of a fourteen year-old rider hungry of victories and able to win a race on the fotofinish. Because of the carefreeness of his age and his ambitious which distinguishes these young kids from the grown-ups. Because of that something crazy that makes you feel like you want to rock the world without knowing where the road will lead you.Beacause the first winnings taste like a first love. Beacause of a Sunday where Bertelle gives his best in both races without making a mistake and giving me an emotional explosion. Three months ago I told this kid that he would have needed to listen to our advices if he had wanted to stay with us. I gave him seven days to make a decision. And look at him now… we took a huge leap forward in his riding style which made him such a strong rider. All I can say is: Bravo! Because he was brave enough to trust us. On the other side Patacca attempted to make some laps but fifteen days of physical therapy are not enough to recover a three-month stop. He was eager to ride anyway, but the pain helped me to convince him that staying in the garage was the smartest choice We are very satisfied with Falzone who arrived 16th and was so close to get his first CEV points. At the beginning of the season our main goal was to get qualified and last sunday we almost got some points. Wow!
As regards Moto3, Ieraci made a good weekend arriving 10th in race one and 11th in race two.
Whereas Montella crashed in both races. Maybe the uncertainty about which team to choose for next season got him distracted, since he had to give up on Wolrd Championship because of the high costs. These decisions have a huge influence on a rider’s mind.
A Sunday full of good feelings which charged me for Thailand, a brand new circuit to be discovered.
