GIAPPONE GP 21/10/18

Honestly I’m a little bit upset. Seeing one of our riders flying away with the helicopter is not nice, and it is an experience my life’s been missing.
Luckily, if we can say so, Niccolò has just a cracked vertebra, and he will skip the next two races in order to be back in good conditions in Valencia.
In the FP they use to do good practices, usually in the top five, and then maybe for the tension, maybe because they’re not ready to invest all it is needed to be on the front row, on Saturday they never concretize and we ends up in the back of the grid, getting to do things the hard way.
Antonelli, thank to Perez who hit him during a no-sense overtaking, just few lapses after the start, ends there his race.
Tatsuki instead left from the 26th position, second row from the back, with soft tires S, he did a good race but he ends 15th, far away from the first group.
We should be a team who aim high but I always end up saying the same things. We have to finish better the qualifying, not just the free practices, which is the worst strategy. It’s a peaty, I would have loved to celebrate a good result together with the 10th anniversary of Marco’s World Championship victory in 250cc.

Now we move forward to Phillip Island… we’ll be enjoying a beautiful land called Australia. We hope that together with the amazing scenario there will be something else amazing to tell!
