I’ve done so many interviews this past weekend, and I wouldn’t like to sound boring saying the same things.
It has been a very intense weekend. Complicated, speaking about the team, even if Fellon, to tell the truth, with very difficult conditions of the asphalt, has been able to enter the Q2 without troubles taking home a race without crashing. Suzuki instead, I saw him deconcentrated, demotivated, maybe the end-of-season brings that, when you don’t reach your goals. He closed the home GP with a non sense crash, avoidable.
On the other hand, this weekend gave me very special moments, the oak tree ceremony, “la quercia del Sic”, was very intimate. The incredible thing is that after a cloudy day, it rained for a few minutes, that little bit enough to make the sun, filtered by that sad sky, illuminate a rainbow that felt like magic. Amazing.
At the sunset, in Coriano, a flame gifted by Lino Dainese, lit for 58 seconds. I appreciated the respectful, it was almost surreal. It was a very touching moment together, his mum and I could feel everything.
My entire team was there, and I want to thank them for staying by our side and the entire world simply for being present. I heard people speaking French, Spanish, German… I know that who wasn’t there, lived this anniversary on the tv or on social media, so even if I don’t know each of you, simply Thank You.
