It was supposed to be a normal weekend, a race-sunday like others, with overtakes, victories. I would have preferred this to be a normal press release, with a little bit of anger, writing about a missed podium or about our little riders growing and learning race by race, or better, saying how happy I am for the amazing race of Patacca. But it isn’t. Those are days of mourning in the motorbikes world for the loss of a too yound rider. It probably doesn’t mean anything and for sure it won’t change what happened, but we want to dedicate this amazing victory just to him: Andreas Perez, a 14 years old spanish rider who lost his life last Sunday, after an accident in the Montmelò Circuit. I didn’t know him personally, but I know so well the passion that pushes those kids to follow their dreams.
