Here we are, we have reached the summer break and we must say a few words on the last two races.<\/p>\n
Lunetta is recovering quickly after the accident in Assen<\/strong>: the surgery done in the Netherlands went well, and was even judged perfect by none other than Dr. Costa. In the meantime, we had to find a replacement. I evaluated several options, and then\u2026I followed my heart.<\/p>\n Thus, came Lenoxx-Jeronimo<\/strong> (just like the famous Apache chief), a young guy who impressed me, while I was walking around the paddock during a Rookies Cup race. Grown up in the Pasini Mini Project<\/strong>, young, determined, with fighter\u2019s eyes. I can\u2019t exactly explain what convinced me, but something was telling me: \u201chim\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n Don\u2019t look at the standings, there\u2019s no need. Just focus on his progress: step by step, thanks to Marco Grana\u2019s help, he was able to turn an immature and rough riding style into something cleaner and more consistent<\/strong>. Last Sunday he really showed that he can grow, we\u2019re happy to have helped him improve and have had him with us on this short journey.<\/p>\n A special thanks to the Rookies Cup officials for lending him to us, and best of luck to him, we hope this is just the beginning.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019m voluntarily skipping the part about the team\u2019s results, the truth is, simply, there aren\u2019t any. Or rather: they are not in line with the dreams I have always had for this team<\/strong>. But if there\u2019s one thing we\u2019ve learned over time, it\u2019s to be patient<\/strong>. I don\u2019t always like to rush<\/strong>, in fact\u2026 I know how to recognize when it\u2019s time to wait. Because sometimes, waiting is the only way to get where you want.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n We hope to have Luca back in time for Austria, my wish for you is some rest and refreshment<\/strong>: I hope you\u2019ll manage to escape, at least for a while, from these 40-degree days of a burning summer.
