We let the Australian GP fade into the background, and now we are already at one of the circuits that challenges us the most, and I\u2019m not referring to the track itself. It\u2019s a love and hate feeling for this circuit, which gave us a lot and asked for it all back, with interest. One day I will write a letter: \u201cDear Sepang\u2026and its thousand faces\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But today, I want to talk about the good things, after a week of silence, finally the moment has come to finally say what I\u2019ve been holding back for a while: after a good race in Australia, Lunetta did it again with an outstanding performance in Thailand, finishing with a well-deserved 2nd place! <\/strong>In this GP he proved to be a guy with iron will, who never gives up, and he was incredible, Lunetta\u2019s got it!
\nHe\u2019s a sponge for information, always ready to ask: \u201cWhat can I do to improve? Why are we doing this?\u201d He gave us a breathtaking final lap.<\/strong> It was a superb performance, he recovered from tenth place, with coolness and analytical skill, putting in fast lap after fast lap, closing with a final lap worthy of someone with the makings of a champion, a daring right wrist and talent in his veins.<\/strong>
\nNow he\u2019s beginning to experience what it\u2019s like to be recognized on the street, he\u2019s not just anyone anymore, and it seems he likes it.<\/p>\n

Filippo, on the other hand, is going through a tough time,<\/strong> not easy and not happy, which leads him to complain that the bike isn\u2019t working. <\/strong>In Australia he threw the bike down in the second lap, fully aware he had chosen the hard tire (which requires patience). In Thailand, even with the right tires, he wasn\u2019t able to show a quality performance either. Now, I don\u2019t want to jump to conclusions, but this is a sport with little tolerance for excuses. Especially nowadays. In the past, he could have simply said \u201cThe bike doesn\u2019t work\u201d and the team had no choice but to trust him. Today, however, the telemetry doesn\u2019t lie, it x-rays you and, in a few words, it keeps everyone in check.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A podium finish is always positive for the team,<\/strong> this endless three-week trip is long and exhausting for everyone, but it feels a bit lighter when you get results like these.<\/p>\n

Since 2017, we have been trying every year. Some years are better than others, a bit like wine. Some years, you find a strong rider, or even a stronger one, and other times you come across young guys who want to be riders, but who are not interested in winning. On Sunday Triolo said something interesting: \u201cAlonso is the present, Lunetta is the future!\u201d.<\/strong> So, perhaps in a world where everyone is a manager or a talent scout\u2026this should be the real goal of a Moto3 team: always searching for the next Alonso\u2026and we believe we\u2019ve found one!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
