Among the hills overlooking the sea there is a circuit that bears an important name, a strong name.\u00a0<\/strong> Even today, it echoes among the flags waving during the track invasion, in Pecco\u2019s all-red pitlane, on the Prato 1 hill, on the t-shirts of children carried on their fathers\u2019 shoulders, on the caps of the most passionate ladies, even more excited than Atalanta\u2019s fiercest supporters.
\nFor some, it may be hard to explain. It\u2019s been 13 years but the sound of your 58 is still a powerful roar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You might have been expecting a polemical press release but\u2026I want to start softly. I would like to start by congratulating the Misano World Circuit Organization,<\/strong> among other things, for having cleaner toilets than the other countries in which we travel and that should not be underestimated.<\/p>\n

Now, I can get angry. A Sunday ruined by the hysteria and exaggeration of the much debated \u201cRace Direction\u201d. <\/strong>It makes you wonder: \u201cDo they really understand the responsibility that comes with their job? Do they realize that when they make rash and senseless decisions, they destroy everything? They act as irrevocable judges, they tear apart the work of an entire weekend, the dreams of a team and of a young rider.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let me breath.<\/p>\n

Farioli gave us a positive weekend, <\/strong>showing more willingness to listen. Despite the ups and downs, he qualified for Q2 and he finished a decent race in the top ten. I hope it will be the start of a new working approach, that will bring us even more satisfactions.<\/p>\n

Lunetta is a star player. He started from the front row with the second-fastest time. Only the incredible Alonso managed to snatch the pole position from him on the last lap. <\/strong>Luca confirmed his Saturday\u2019s performance with an impressive comeback, which he had to make because of the two long laps due to a supposed and unreal jump start (his wheel was just over the white line of his grid box). We could have done well, because battling in the race is his strength. Such a shame, such a shame and again, such a shame!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have reached the end of the season with this weekend to forget for MotoE.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With this race, we say goodbye to Manfredi,<\/strong> a\u00a0serious guy with his head on his shoulders. He is fast, makes few mistakes, and he has the right qualities for endurance races, the six explosive laps are not really his thing. But I want to thank him for everything he\u2019s done for the team, for his enthusiasm, eagerness to perform and for the podiums he gave us last year. Thank you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Roccoli will stay with us and very soon, he will be joined by a very young new entry.<\/p>\n

We have dismantled everything to make space for the Bike Festival and we will be back to put it all together again next Monday, for the joy of the workers. I also wanted to compliment the hospitality team,<\/strong> who went above and beyond. A big thank you to all the guests who were always ready to lend a hand. With the mum in the dining hall and under the leadership of Guillem and Martina, everything ran quickly and smoothly.<\/p>\n

Misano is always Misano, a bit like saying: home sweet home. F<\/strong>or us from Romagna, there is no other home grand prix quite like this one. <\/strong>And soon, it will be time for the second round.<\/p>\n
