\nSuzuki luckily got to Austin right on time for the free practice session on Friday morning. He was exhausted due to the long trip and we expected that tiredness could condition his performances but, on the contrary, he was fast for the whole weekend and, together with Niccol\u00f2, acted as real key players. <\/p>\n
I could focus this release on the great deeds of our riders, talking about Anotonelli\u2019s pole position and his good 5th race position for which I congratulate him. I could also praise Tatsuki for his race that, even though it didn\u2019t finish the way we hoped for, was a great one.
\nNevertheless, what I want to tell you about today is the story of my team, how it came out from nothing and found its way in the complicated world of motorsport among other long-experienced teams. We have been able to find our comfortable spot where we care for our riders and work for their growth.
\nWe are proud for bringing Tony Arbolino to the World Championship, even though later we took different paths. We have been helping Antonelli to get back to the good old days and be again a rider confident in his talent.
\nWe have been working on Suzuki to strengthen his base and make him feel like he is able to fearlessly lead the group and set the pace.
\nWhat we try to be here is not an \u201cAcademy\u201d teaching riders what they are supposed to know already at this level, we just would like to put these guys in the best possible condition to let them do their best.<\/p>\n
The team which allows us to do so, is made up by:
\n– Marco Grana a good technician able to understand what Niccol\u00f2 needs and to handle professionally both riders. First time we met he told me \u201cyou think about the budget and I\u2019ll do the rest!\u201d. And it worked out.
\n– Filippo Berti driver, mechanic and rugby player, he was the very first to work in the team. After a complicated start due to a particular moment in his life we had a fight and he got fired. But then I took him back ten days after, as the best romantic happy ending.
\n-Casali Luca another mechanic from Romagna working both in the World and Spanish Championship. He is earning money to get married and we are happy to be part of it.
\n-Diego Nardi this guy really knows what the saying \u201cwork your way up\u201d means. He is an old style mechanic able to build an engine out of a piece of iron.
\n-Giovanni Moretti sweet and polite, had some obstacles to overcome at the beginning but now we are settled in.
\n-Amando Garcia Canto telemetrist, wise and quite\u2026 he is a certainty.
\n-Inigo Puig I G\u00fcell in charged of the tires, he was a great catch. He loves his job which is a very important one even though often underestimated.
\n-Patricia Pacheco our she telemetrist , I stole her from Monlao team after I saw here loading the truck. She is sweet and funny and very good at her job.
\n– Giorgia Fratesi our guest manager, she cares about our sponsors and is in charged of the logistics of the team. Casali\u2019s future bride, she is waiting for him to get rich.
\n– Anna Zerbato she is Tatsuki\u2019s girlfriend and our social media manager. She is professional and passionate for her job which sometimes requires her to stay up all night.
\nLast but not the least, Fabio Balducci our company man. He is the reference person for the Spanish Championship and we would be lost without him.
\nMy goal writing these words is to pay homage to my team because we are what we are thanks to these people. We are clever, stubborn, funny, creative, professional and most of all\u2026. stubborn, have said it already? SIC58 Squadra Corse is an authentic and genuine team which feels more and more like family.<\/p>\n
