\nThe weekend was positive but we could have done more, as I too frequently say in our press releases.
\nLet\u2019s start with ETC. The red flag at the end of Race2 didn\u2019t give Matteo Bertelle the opportunity to join the podium, ending 4th with a sprint. He\u2019s growing a lot, he did a big step forward, he is listening to our advices proving that with strong results. The thing that most makes me believe in him is his wish to give always the best, the craving to never give up, with his cunning eyes. His a tough one. Even Falzone is showing what he is capable of; we have to remember this is his first year with \u201cbig size\u201d tires, and he keeps on growing in between a crash test and another: not for his fault, in the last one he did so many damages. Someone told at my sore look: \u201cwhat can you do, those are races!\u201d and then, quoting an Italian comic, he added: \u201cthey\u2019re just kids!\u201d and I almost smiled. Patacca is divided between home and gym, riabilitation and physiotherapy, and even with a double zero for not riding the last two races he is still at the top of the ranking.
\nMoto3: I\u2019m happy for the comeback of Manuela, Ieraci\u2019s manager, exonerated just few days ago; unfortunately justice has its time and it takes six months to prove her innocence. Those are the types of experience that change you but this is a speech to huge to develop here so if we want to defuse, we can say that at least she lost 30kg! Anyway her comeback had a good influence on Ieraci, who found back his smile and his wish to compete. He qualified with the 8th time but at the green light we hadn\u2019t been able to turn on the bike: we\u2019re still trying to figure out why. Starting from the last position on the grid he closed 12th doing a super aggressive race. A very good placement also for Montella who ended tenth. And ATTENTION ATTENTION!! Yari will debut as a wild card at the Misano Grand Prix. He will freak out debuting at the home GP!
\nTo close the weekend in the best way there was our amazing Mattia Casadei, who gained a great P4 and a fantastic podium, closing Race2 of the CIV 600 SUPERSPORT in 3rd position. It confirmed it was the right choice to send him there (despite external pressures). I\u2019m so happy for him and also for me, this podium is a \u201cbravo\u201d to my self esteem, I saw again in Mattia an happy and sincere smile which he had lost previously. Well done Matti!
